DESCRIPTION
GRAMMY-nominated drummer and producer Nate Smith, known for his deep groove and genre-blending style, returns with a new album, out August 29, continuing his journey through jazz, R&B, and beyond. He conceived this album, LIVE-ACTION, as a producer-led project in the manner of Quincy Jones.
Nate explains: “It was a way to activate all of these relationships that I’ve been building over the last five or six years since the pandemic, many of them through social media.”
